Updated: Sep 18, 2022
In this drawing lesson, we will look at how to draw a curious playing cat. Cats, especially kittens, are very cute and curious, they are interested in everything, they are hunters, and with the help of the game, kittens learn to be adults. They play with everything: with leaves, flies, butterflies, they hunt their tail, our legs, our hands, they like to attack the blanket, they jump, run, sweeping everything away on their way, they are interested in everything.

Step 1. Drawing the position of the kitten by drawing a form of a skeleton.
To understand how to draw a playing cat or kitten, we need to decide on the proportions and its body position. Therefore, to make it easier, we will draw a skeleton. First, we need to draw the head in the form of a circle, determine the direction of the head with the help of auxiliary curves, and put down the tip of the nose. Then we draw a curve of how the spine passes, then we show the bones of the front paw, it seems to us prohibitively large because of the perspective, then we show the rest of the paws.

Step 2. Draw the shape of the kitten's head.
Next, we begin to draw the shape of the kitten's head, nose, muzzle, eyes, and ears.

Step 3. Outlining the body of the kitten.
In this step, we draw a back, a forward paw, and a belly. We detail the head and draw the hairs in the ear and the pupil in the eye just a little bit.

Step 4. Draw all kitten's legs. Erase the auxiliary lines.
We draw the hind legs and the second front. We erase all auxiliary lines.

Step 5. Detail the stripes on the kitten's fur.
The stripes on the cat's body make it clear where the middle of the back is, we show. We show the stripes on the fur, they are very thin near the head, wider on the paws, and on the stomach they are medium. Draw a tail.

Step 6. The kitten drawing - final steps.
You can shade the body a little with a light tone to give volume. And also draw a toy, or a frog, or a mouse, a rat, a candy wrapper, a bottle, a rag, a piece of sausage, or a sock and the drawing of a playing cat is ready.
