The color of carnations varies from dark red to white. There are also two-tone carnations. They are very showy and grow in many gardens. Drawing them is interesting because of the many petals overlapping each other. Apply shadows with both solid and repeated hatching, as well as lighten or darken the edges of the petals.
Step 1. Outline the contour of the carnation flower.

Step 2. Add the details of the carnation petals.
Start adding the details of the petals. Draw the uneven edges of the petals. After that, start applying shadows.
