Valentine's Day is upon us, and you are likely thinking about gifts for your love. And you likely want to buy a card with it. There is a better way to show your love! As they say, the best gift is the one you made yourself. In our case, we will be drawing a Valentine's Day card.

This time, we will learn to draw the Valentine's Day angel. As usual, we will go through drawing the angel step-by-step. Hope you like the tutorial and will master drawing an angel for this Valentine's Day.
Step 1. Outline the body of our cute Valentine's angel
In the first step, we need to outline our Valentine's Day angel's body, wings, and hair.
Step 2. Draw out the details for our Valentine's Day angel
Now that you drew the contour of our Valentine's angel body and hair, we need to draw details. We draw the flower in our angel's hand and the bows. Then, draw the cute face of our angel: her eyes, nose, and lips.
Step 3. Shade the drawing of the Valentine's Day angel
Next, we need to shade our drawing. As you can see, our drawing has a few shades of grey. The wing and the towel are almost white. The body is light grey, and the hair is darker. The bows are the darkest. You may choose to color the bows and the flowers with colored pencils. Pay attention to shades. In our drawing, the light is on the right, so the left side of our Valentine's angel's face is in the shade. Also, the shade is on the bottom of the towel and the bottom parts of the angel's body.
Step 4. Continue shading the angel's hair and body.
Continue adding shades to our drawing. As you can see, we went over the drawing, adding darker shading to our Valentine's angel back, wing, and bottom. Then, we need to darken the hair, paying special attention to drawing locks of hair, as shown below.
Step 5. Highlight the contour of the Valentine's Day angel.
Finally, we went through the drawing with a soft, dark pencil to add contour to the drawing of our Valentine's Day angel.
